  • Good point, but does that mean you wouldn't want Christmas off either?

I think all public holidays (religious or otherwise) should just be added to people's holiday allocation, to take whenever they want.

  • It just seems that we get Easter and Christmas as big holidays (Christian events), but there's no other religion where it's a holiday from work/school. I certainly don't say no to the time off as holidays are needed for everyone, I just think it should be appropriately named to cover everyone, so not religious.

  • Where are all the Christians anyway? There are only 3 families in our whole estate that go to church and they are kiddie on Christians. The churches are empty. People don't believe these made up stories. Just think about it 5 fish and two loaves??? Holidays should be changed to go along with the times. There must be other great reasons that we could celebrate. Such as Great Discoveries Day, Eureka Day, Heritage Day? We could keep Xmas and call it Kiddie on Christian Day, so that we can still have the glitter , tinsel and presents and Chocolate Day instead of Easter.

  • Probably not but pretend or fake Christians didn't sound so good. ;-)
