    • It's tied into 2. first difference is 2 squared, then 2 cubed, then 2 to power of 4, 5, etc.

      I've thrown away the workings, but something like

      100-94 = 4 (2 squared)

      100+4 = 104

      104-96 = 8 (2 cubed)

      96-8 = 88

      104-88 = 16 (2 to power of 4)

      104+16 = 120

      120-88 = 32 (2 to power of 5)

      88-32 = 56

      120+56 = 64 (2 to power of 6)

      120+64 = 184. TA-DA!
